Address Bullying (Yr 7-9) |
ADDRESS BULLYING IN A POSITIVE AND PROACTIVE MANNER We at Equipe Industries understand your passion to build a more inclusive school environment. In partnership with numerous schools we have specifically designed three anti-bullying presentations that will greatly assist you in your mission. These presentations do not focus on the negative or the 'what not to do' but rather encourage, educate and inspire students to live more positive alternatives that ultimately foster personal fulfilment. Each of these three presentations will: · Highlight and bolster personal value.· Help students understand situations from the second perspective. · Emphasise the power of how we treat others. · Provide a point of challenge and action. · Help generate a culture that is more encouragement rather than discouragement orientated. The learning journey We have created an educational journey starting in Year 7, with ongoing themes through to Year 9. Each year's presentation is comprehensive enough to stand alone but also builds upon the themes of the others. Accompanying follow up materials Bullying is a large problem in society, as commonly understood, and there are no quick fixes or simple solutions. To maximise the full impact of this anti-bullying presentation it is recommended that schools consider combining the following elements: · Equipe Industries leadership training designed to empower influential students and help create a more inclusive and empowering school environment. As a result of this day of training specific strategies can be launched to address bullying dynamics on a cultural level. Please see our Leadership DV program outline. · The following resources are designed to continually inspire in the classroom and beyond:
A typical schoolyard is a place where young people develop a number of their attitudes and beliefs about themselves and others. This Yr 7 presentation utilises and interactive anime diagram of a schoolyard to explore the power of choices. This program highlights the impact of positive interactions and aims to generate healthy communication habits amongst peers.
Words are the most powerful force that any human can possess. This Yr 8 presentation explores this idea and tells the story of Emmanuel, a boy whose life was dramatically affected by negative words, as witnessed firsthand by an Equipe presenter. This impacting presentation will elicit a strong emotional response and help facilitate understanding and inclusivity.
Scientists claim the eye is the most complex mechanism in the known universe, yet vision requires more than simply seeing, in requires interpretation from the brain. Therefore, we do not actually see reality but our brain's representation of reality. This Yr 9 presentation encourages students to see with greater perspective in relation to their relationships and future. Students will be challenged in the way they perceive others and encouraged to act with greater thoughtfulness. For more details please contact info@equipeindustries.com.au |
